Dolls House Reno

After buying a dolls house off gumtree 4 years ago for $40 it was always my aim to do it up for my daughter, but birthdays and Christmas's kept flying past whilst it sat under the house collecting dust. Finally just before her 4th Birthday I got my act together and gave this timber beauty a boho Reno to love for many many years to come.

Peachy, creamy and blush tones mixed and timber furniture was all tied together with the perfect wall paper from Bonnie and Harlo. Preloved timber pieces where brought back to life with a sand and a paint, and with the trusty hot glue gun pot plants were made and the couch reupholstered.

Cupboards and junk boxes around the house where raided and every chopstick, spare fabric and odd earring was given a new life. The main room features a swinging chair, made from glueing rope (and my fingers) around a bowl (thanks @thefrenchfolk) and hessian bags and scrap fabrics made for perfect rugs and bedding. The finishing touches where some must have cushions from @prettyinpine and vases & plants from @minihomeco

I think I loved making it as much as Harlow loves playing with it, and has become a beautiful well loved centre piece of the lounge room, I am over my anxiety of pieces moved around and I am at peace with the toilet ontop of the fridge or the occasional couch in the bathroom as I can see how much joy and creativity it brings her.
