Our Story
Hi there and welcome. My name is Emelie and I’m the heart and designer behind our Jervis Bay-based label. Together with my husband David and our two little ones, we are Bam Loves Boo.
Our childrenswear is crafted from a signature blend of organic bamboo and certified organic cotton, creating soft, breathable pieces that are gentle on sensitive skin and designed for everyday wear.

Where it all
Bam Loves Boo began in 2017, created by founder Hannah during maternity leave. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something more. A response to an industry that moved too fast, produced too much and often overlooked its impact.
With a background in childrenswear design, Hannah built the brand with intention. Slower, more considered and focused on doing things properly. From the fabrics used, to the relationships with makers, to pieces designed to last beyond a single season.
Today, that foundation continues to guide everything we do. Now based in Jervis Bay, Bam Loves Boo carries forward the same thoughtful approach by Emelie, shaped by both lived experience and a background in design.
As a mum, I’m drawn to clothing that holds up to real life. Soft on skin, practical and made to last beyond a single season. Pieces made slowly, worn often and passed on with care.

We have expanded our product range to incorporated other small businesses into our curated store that complement our aesthetics and values.
We have also collaborated with a number of Australian female-led brands, such as Montii, The Lullaby Club, Chekoh Baby, The Young Folk Collective, Sunday Minx and Twin Collective to combine our prints with their eco-friendly products.

Our business model differs from the industry's standard of seasonal collections, mass sales, and trend-based pieces. We provide SLOW, timeless designs that don't require sales and discounts to introduce new pieces.
Instead, we release our annual collection gradually, in contrast to fast fashion or seasonal cycles. This ensures our styles have a LONG lifespan with the intent to be passed on regardless of gender, trends, or seasons, which ultimately benefits our planet.
